Join us for an insightful keynote with Christopher Marquis, Cambridge professor and author of THE PROFITEERS, as we explore the ways in which businesses maximize profits while offloading social and environmental costs onto society.
Despite claims of commitment to environmental and social justice, many corporations continue to prioritize profit over people and the planet. Marquis argues that it’s not enough to reform individual companies—we must rethink the entire system. Drawing on his latest work and his previous book, Better Business: How the B Corp Movement is Remaking Capitalism, he will highlight the pioneers who are changing the global business landscape. These leaders provide practical blueprints to address some of the most pressing social and environmental issues by absorbing hidden costs and minimizing harm.
The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Fabrizio Ferraro of IESE Business School, and will be followed by a networking session.
