New York Climate Week – Goals House Panel

United Nations General Assembly

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations (UN), serving as its main deliberative, policymaking, and representative organ. It comprises all Member States, providing a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the member states of the United Nations has an equal vote.

Running parallel to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and Climate Week NYC, Goals House at UNGA hosts a multitude of events covering a wide range of topics, from climate change solutions and conscious consumption to AI’s role in gender equality and protecting vulnerable communities. Partnerships are forged, innovative ideas are explored, and a commitment to positive change is underscored throughout the event.

Based at Tavern on the Green, one of the highlights includes hosting Little Amal during her extraordinary journey across the U.S. in 2023, shedding crucial light on the intricate connection between climate change and migration.

Goals House continues to play a pivotal role during UNGA, hosting a series of events focused on driving the SDGs. This commitment to action is the heart of Goals House, demonstrating its dedication to creating a sustainable and equitable future for all, regardless of the year.
