Harvard Kennedy School Social Innovation + Change Initiative
From climate change to inequality, public leaders grapple with some of the biggest crises of our day. Addressing them requires multi-sector approaches that rebalance the interrelationships between corporations, governments, and civil society to deliver socially and environmentally beneficial outcomes to all.
Christopher Marquis, author of the new book The Profiteers: How Business Privatizes Profit and Socializes Cost, explores economics-driven assumptions of our world from a sociological perspective. He will discuss his investigation into the real costs of doing business today and put forth a regenerative paradigm for future economies.
